DSLR PHOTOGRAPHY FOR BEGINNERS [1]
LEARN HOW TO TAKE GREAT PHOTOGRAPHS
The aim of these basic DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) Photography workshops is to introduce and engage you in digital photography at a beginners level, with the outcome being the ability for you to shoot in semi- automatic mode and build confidence towards moving to fully manual mode. You will understand the basic fundamentals of exposure, composition and light. You can easily learn these skills and in no time, with a bit of practise, will enjoy taking great photo’s. The sessions will be two hours long, over a consecutive four week period. Learning will be in a relaxed tutorial style with visual presentations, handouts, practical exercises, and a weekly photo challenge and the final session will be on location. The workshops are on a Wednesday morning or a Saturday morning (for those who are working during the week). If you are only available on a different morning, please request the day on the contact form below. The workshops are limited to a small group of 5 participants, this gives everyone a chance to learn and ask questions in relation to their camera. No experience necessary although you are required to bring a DSLR camera, charger and a memory (SD) card. You should have read the ‘getting to know your camera’ section in the manual. If you don’t have a manual for your camera, you will be able to download one online.
Once you know the basics you can progress to DSLR PHOTOGRAPHY INTERMEDIATE [2]
