LET’S GO BEYOND BASICS AND LEARN MORE CREATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY
These fun intermediate workshops will take you from shooting in semi-manual to being knowledgeable and confident shooting in full manual mode. You will explore how to be more creative with your photography. We will work with different light sources, learn how to capture a wider range of exposures, how to read the histogram and explore advanced compositions. By the end of the course you will have gained the knowledge to enjoy control with your creative photography.
The sessions are two hours long, over a consecutive four week period. Learning will be in a relaxed tutorial style with visual presentations, handouts, practical exercises, and a weekly photo challenge.
The workshops are on a Wednesday afternoon or a Saturday afternoon (for those who are working during the week). If you are only available on a different afternoon, please request which day on the contact form below. The workshops are limited to a small group of 5 participants, which gives everyone a chance to learn and ask questions. Bring your DSLR camera, camera manual, charger and a SD card.
You should be familiar with your camera settings and able to shoot in semi-automatic modes. If you are unsure of the basics, please consider joining Digital Photography for Beginners [1] or One to One mentoring sessions are also available.
